There are a number of options for an organization or individual to contribute to the Community Recreation Foundation. It can be as simple as a general contribution to be used where needed, or the contribution can be for a specific, designated purpose. In addition to cash contributions, there is a need for volunteers to assist at various special events. The Community Recreation Foundation is exempt from Federal Income Tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to the organization are deductible in the manner and to the extent provided by the law. Citizens wishing to discuss a contribution to the organization can call the Recreation Division Administrative Office at (307) 235-8403, or Donate via our home page.
Scholarships are available to assist youth and seniors in financially challenged situations who wish to participate in recreation activities offered within the City of Casper Leisure Services Department. Youth may obtain assistance to participate in activities at the Casper Recreation Center, Casper Ice Arena, and any of the City of Casper's operated aquatics facilities. The scholarships are also available for youth to participate in city offered youth sports programs. Scholarship eligibility is based on income level and the number of individuals in the family as per the guidelines established by the State Department of Family Services. Each scholarship application is evaluated individually by a Recreation Division Staff as well as the Recreation Manager
